Introducing the all new CAT MOB Titanium Suppressor, AKA Mobster! This 9MM sub-machine gun suppressor showcases a significant advancement in silencer technology with its unique DiVerge pressure system. This pressure system manages the flow of gases more efficiently over a reduced length and width, minimizing sound, gas blowback, flash, and felt recoil. This can use Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) engineering, optimized internal structuring, and truly state-of-the-art gas management for low-pressure cartridges to channel gas flow forward and away from the operator's face while simultaneously producing superior noise reduction and minimizing pressure wave propagation for the shooter and bystanders. With DiVerge technology, born of CAT's SkyNET design vectors, the MOB is created specifically for the purpose of SMG suppression in all aspects of function and use. The CAT MOB is known for its exceptional durability, being made from high-grade, proprietary materials, and has been subjected to rigorous testing. It can withstand corrosion and the stresses of rapid firing, making it suitable for both military professionals and civilian enthusiasts. And it can even handle subsonic 8.6 Blackout.

The titanium version is a super lightweight, extremely high-performance suppressor. As with all titanium suppressors, you should not exceed a maximum service temperature of approximately 650°F (343°C).

Customer Questions
What is the best 9mm suppressor, and how does it compare to other suppressors on the market?
The Dead Air Wolfman, SilencerCo Omega 9K, and Rugged Obsidian 9 are among the top-rated 9mm suppressors on the market. Silencer Shop carrys many amazing slencer all suited for different tasks.
How does a 9mm silencer improve shooting accuracy and noise reduction?
A 9mm silencer reduces muzzle blast and recoil, which can improve shooting accuracy by minimizing muzzle rize and reducing kick. Noise reduction is achieved by trapping and slowing the escaping gases from the gunshot, significantly lowering the sound signature. This not only makes shooting more comfortable but can also reduce shooter fatigue and flinching, further enhancing accuracy.
What is the smallest 9mm suppressor, and is it effective for noise reduction?
The SilencerCo Spectre 9 is an incredibly compact mm suppressor. Despite its compact size, the Spectre offer effective noise reduction suitable for most shooting applications.
How quiet is a 9mm suppressor, and what factors influence noise reduction?
A suppressed 9mm pistol can reduce the sound level to hearing safe levels. Factors influencing noise reduction include: Ammunition Type: Subsonic ammo is quieter because it eliminates the sonic crack. Suppressor Design: Baffle structure and internal volume can affect performance. Barrel Length: Longer barrels can slightly reduce noise.
What is the quietest 9mm suppressor available on the market today?
The Rugged Obsidian 9 and CAT Street Crack are often cited for their exceptional sound suppression in the 9mm category. Both suppressors utilize advanced baffle designs and ample internal volume to maximize sound suppression.
How effective is the Obsidian 9mm suppressor compared to other modular suppressors?
The Rugged Obsidian 9 is highly regarded for its modularity, allowing users to switch between a full-length (7.8 inches) and a short configuration (4.8 inches). In its full-length setup, it offers superior sound suppression, while the short mode provides a more compact option with slightly reduced noise reduction. Compared to other modular suppressors, the Obsidian 9 stands out for its durability, ease of disassembly, and excellent performance in both configurations.
What are the benefits of using a short 9mm suppressor versus a standard-size model?
Benefits of a short 9mm suppressor include: Improved Maneuverability: Easier handling, especially in confined spaces. Reduced Weight: Less front-end weight can enhance firearm balance. Compactness: More suitable for holstering or storage.
Can a 9mm pistol with a silencer be used for concealed carry, and what should you know about compatibility?
There are 9mm silencers for concealed carry, such as the JK Armament CCX 9. It is incredibly compact and very light, hardly noticible. The CCX 9 does not require a booster, making it ideal for EDC.
What are the key differences between a 9mm suppressor and a 9mm silencer, if any?
The terms "suppressor" and "silencer" are used interchangeably and refer to the same device. Both are designed to reduce the sound of a firearm's discharge.
How does a modular 9mm suppressor perform compared to traditional models?
Modular 9mm suppressors offer the ability to adjust length and performance. In the longer configuration, they provide maximum sound suppression similar to traditional full-size suppressors. In the shorter setup, they are more compact but with slightly reduced noise reduction. This flexibility allows users to tailor the suppressor to their specific needs, making modular suppressors more versatile than fixed-length models.
What should you consider when buying a suppressor for a 9mm pistol?
Key Considerations for a 9mm suppressor: Sound Suppression: Opt for models with proven decibel reduction. Size and Weight: Ensure it doesn't unbalance your pistol. Mounting Compatibility: Ability to work on multiple firearms, including pistons and carbines.(common 9mm thread pitch is 1/2x28).
