The Otter Creek Lithium 9 was designed from the ground up to offer the best weight to suppression ratio of any 9mm SMG/PCC suppressor on the market. It uses internal features and venting to help reduce port pop on direct blowback operating systems and features industry standard 1.375x24 rear mounting threads to easily be adapted to the mounting system of your choice. The OCL Lithium 9 is compatible with 3-Lug booster/piston mounts and can be used on 9mm handguns.

Please Note: Because the Lithium 9 has a smaller blast chamber than most typical rifle suppressors a direct thread mount must be used if it’s being fired on 350 legend, 300 HAMR, 223/5.56, 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor and other similar cartridges so that you have maximum blast chamber volume not being occupied by a muzzle device.

Customer Questions
Can I use a .30 cal suppressor on a 5.56 rifle, and what are the pros and cons?
Yes! .30 Caliber silencers will work on the smaller 5.56 round. The pros are the versatility to run the suppressor ona variety of firearms and calibers, at the cost of some sound performance due to the larger bore.
How effective is the Obsidian 9mm suppressor compared to other modular suppressors?
The Rugged Obsidian 9 is highly regarded for its modularity, allowing users to switch between a full-length (7.8 inches) and a short configuration (4.8 inches). In its full-length setup, it offers superior sound suppression, while the short mode provides a more compact option with slightly reduced noise reduction. Compared to other modular suppressors, the Obsidian 9 stands out for its durability, ease of disassembly, and excellent performance in both configurations.
What are the benefits of using a short 9mm suppressor versus a standard-size model?
Benefits of a short 9mm suppressor include: Improved Maneuverability: Easier handling, especially in confined spaces. Reduced Weight: Less front-end weight can enhance firearm balance. Compactness: More suitable for holstering or storage.
Can a 9mm pistol with a silencer be used for concealed carry, and what should you know about compatibility?
There are 9mm silencers for concealed carry, such as the JK Armament CCX 9. It is incredibly compact and very light, hardly noticible. The CCX 9 does not require a booster, making it ideal for EDC.
What are the key differences between a 9mm suppressor and a 9mm silencer, if any?
The terms "suppressor" and "silencer" are used interchangeably and refer to the same device. Both are designed to reduce the sound of a firearm's discharge.
How does a modular 9mm suppressor perform compared to traditional models?
Modular 9mm suppressors offer the ability to adjust length and performance. In the longer configuration, they provide maximum sound suppression similar to traditional full-size suppressors. In the shorter setup, they are more compact but with slightly reduced noise reduction. This flexibility allows users to tailor the suppressor to their specific needs, making modular suppressors more versatile than fixed-length models.
What should you consider when buying a suppressor for a 9mm pistol?
Key Considerations for a 9mm suppressor: Sound Suppression: Opt for models with proven decibel reduction. Size and Weight: Ensure it doesn't unbalance your pistol. Mounting Compatibility: Ability to work on multiple firearms, including pistons and carbines.(common 9mm thread pitch is 1/2x28).
What is the best 5.56 suppressor for 2024, and why should I consider it for my AR-15?

What is the difference between an AR-15 silencer and an AR-15 suppressor?
There is no difference between an AR-15 silencer and an AR-15 suppressor; the terms are used interchangeably. Both refer to devices attached to the firearm's muzzle to reduce the sound of gunfire.
How loud is an AR-15 with a suppressor, and what factors affect the sound reduction?
A suppressed AR-15 significantly reduces the hearing damage risk and sound of a gunshot. Factors affecting sound reduction include: Suppressor Design: Baffle configuration and internal volume. Ammunition: Subsonic vs. supersonic rounds (though subsonic 5.56 ammo is rare). Barrel Length: Shorter barrels may produce louder shots. Environmental Conditions: Surroundings can influence perceived noise.
Can you shoot .223 out of a 5.56 suppressor, and what are the considerations?

They achieve superior suppression through advanced baffle designs using 3D printing, high-quality materials, and optimized internal volume that effectively reduce muzzle blast and sound signature.
Can you use a 30 cal suppressor on a 5.56 rifle, and what are the considerations?
Yes, you can use a .30 cal suppressor on a 5.56 rifle because the larger bore accommodates the smaller 5.56 bullet. Considerations include a slight compromise in sound suppression compared to a dedicated 5.56 suppressor and potential differences in weight and length.
How does a .30 cal suppressor compare to a 5.56 suppressor in terms of performance?
A .30 cal suppressor offers greater versatility since it can handle multiple calibers, including 5.56. However, a dedicated 5.56 suppressor may provide slightly better sound suppression for that specific caliber due to a tighter bore and optimized baffle design. The trade-off is between versatility and maximum suppression efficiency for a single caliber.
What calibers can you use with a 30 cal suppressor, and are there any limitations?
A .30 cal suppressor can typically handle calibers up to .30 caliber, such as .308 Winchester, .300 Blackout, 7.62x39mm, 300 WinMag, and 6.5 Creedmoor. It can also be used with smaller calibers like 5.56 NATO. Some silencers will have barrel length restrictions, fire rate recommendations, or specific caliber ratings.
Can you shoot 9mm through a 30 cal suppressor, and what should you be aware of?
No. 30 cal silencers will not work on 9mm firearms. 9mm is larger in diameter than 308/7.62 and cannot be fired from a 30 caliber suppressor.
What is the thread pitch for a 30 cal suppressor, and how does it affect compatibility?
