This Surefire can received the SOCOM official safety verification and was selected for the M4 and Mk18 carbines by the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM). 

The SOCOM556-RC2 suppressor is precision-built with cutting-edge manufacturing techniques. Constructed from advanced high-temp Inconel alloy and stainless steel, the suppressor is CNC laser-welded for uncompromising durability. The SOCOM556-RC2 was constructed to maintain the reliability of the host weapon thanks to unique internal baffling that reduces gas blowback. This feature ensures minimal flash signature and dust signature, providing consistent performance, and keeping things quiet under fire.

Designed for military use, this silencer offers a compact (6.4 inches) and lightweight (17 ounces) option in the 5.56mm rifle category. Constructed with a combination of stainless steel and Inconel 718, boasting extreme durability and maximum reliability, the SOCOM556-RC2 suppressor will never be an issue. Depending on usage, the suppressor should outlast the host barrel. 3. Silencer Shop will email a DocuSign to you. Please review and digitally sign the file from your computer or mobile device.
4. Set up your ATF eForms account at eforms.atf.gov. Make sure your email, name, and address match your Silencer Shop profile information exactly.
5. You'll receive an email from Silencer Shop that says "Ready to Certify" and includes the phone number of your local Powered by Silencer Shop dealer. Set up a time to certify and submit the form to the ATF for processing.
